Most of us start our smartphone journey with an android phone but as soon as we are capable of buying an iPhone, we have plethora of data in our android phone which we don't wanna loose. Transferring data from Android to iOS is little bit difficult because of the restricted environment of iOS which do not allow us to clone your android phone to iOS by just logging in your Google account. So how do we get all of our data ?

Well, the answer to your question is "through third party apps". Steps to Use Move to iOS App for transferring data from Android to iOS :

1. To get started, power on your new iPhone or iPad and start the initial setup till you reach to the "Apps and Data" screen with a option saying "Move Data from Android"

2. Next step is to download Move to iOS app from the Google playstore in your old Android phone. 

3. After app installation on your android phone tap on "continue" on both devices.

4. Your iOS device now show a 12 digit code that you have to enter your Android device for pairing of both devices. 

5. Once your devices are paired over Wifi or USB you have to select types of data like images, contacts, accounts, bookmarks etch that you want to transfer from your android phone.

6. Now your iOS and Android devices start the data transfer. After completion android device will prompt you to take your phone to apple store for recycling. You can ignore it.

7. In your new iOS device, you can continue setting up your Apple ID. Once that done, you will be prompted to restore your Google accounts and data in respective apps. 

8. After it gets completed your new iOS device is ready to be used with all your data in your old Android phone.

This one is the safest but not the only option to transfer data from android to iOS device.
